Chris Riseley grew up in the San Fernando Valley. A great deal of Dog's Days is taken directly from a green journal he kept while attending Sepulveda Jr. High.

Then I see Kristen. She looks a little embarrassed and I'm feeling a little embarrassed but the light dancing off her face from the fire makes her look like a princess. Yeah, I don't mind this at all.
